Honestly, C&C4 wasn't as horrible as people make it out to be. It just not a C&C, and people judge it based on that and instantly throws shit at it. If it were a stand-alone title, not connected with C&C (or maybe a new universe within C&C) it could have become something interesting.

That was made by Studio Liverpool for casual gamers (most likely under pressure from sony). If Studio Liverpool can fuck up a WipEout game, I dread to think what will happen from another studio. D:

I think the issue with C&C4 was that it just wasn't C&C. It's like selling beef burgers and them turning out to have horse meat in them. Doesn't matter if it's damn good, it's just not what you're paying for.

Also, Renegade still remains one of my favorite games of all time (even if the fake multiplayer that involved bots was SHIT). First game I ever played online either, I'll note.

Also, CJ, I never particularly liked DMC, fixed camera pissed me off SO much. Then they removed it and somehow ruined the rest of the game

I agree, WHY hasn't something like this come back? NS2 is a decent alternative, and several big mods aiming to recreate it have been in development for AGES, but nothing concrete to replace this gem!
