You have no say in the slimy, horrific way in which you come into this world, but you are definitely interested in steering yourself away from a demise that will make you look like a complete fucking dipstick.

Already tried it... again...

Really not that impressed, 'tis a shame really. Looks like it's pretty powerful, but the lack of documentation just makes it impossible to customise without sinking a lot of time into it. :/
What exactly are you trying to customise?

Well for a start all I wanted was a panel that displays album covers. Not the cover of the selected/playing track, a grid of album covers. That and I was trying to make it not look like complete shit.

TBH though... why should I spend so much time and effort trying to get it to look and function the way I want it to, when I can download one of many other audio players change a handful of obvious and/or well documented settings and be done with it?

We just laugh and smile :) .

That said I would like a car, it's just a shame it's impossible to have one at a fair price in the UK :P .
If you think vehicles are expensive in the UK, wait until you come to Australia. D8
To be honest, it's not actually the vehicles themselves here that are so expensive, but it's the extortionate insurance.

In Oz, how much would a 1986 190E (2L, 4 cyl) worth about £1500 be to insure for a, say, 24-yo driver with one year of previous driving experience?

Depends where you go but easily under 1k
Good, that's as it should be, but over here it's £4500 minimum Oo .

I think its time for you to move to straya! Theres a spare bed at my place 8|
Heheheheh, better watch out or I might cash in that offer sometime :P .

Gotta find me first :P
And honestly why would you pick Perth, If i could choose it would be Melbourne for me :xD:
Everyone knows Sydney is the only worthwhile place in Australia. 8|

Yeah i can't even think of a response for that just because Sydney is so up its self :xD:

Not entirely sure what you mean by grid, like an iTunes sort of thing?

To be honest Foobar looks fine with the default theme after a little adjustment, although that may just be personal preference as I never really liked themed media players anyway.

The reason to use it is more for the stability, the plugins and the quality more than anything else.

To be fair though, just about everything you can find in other Australian cities you can find in Sydney.

That sort of thing.

I'm not asking for anything fancy. But the default options are pretty basic, and there is no easy way to expand them.

Stability? Most audio players are pretty stable.

Plugins? Winamp and MusicBee both have plugins, and I'm sure a number of others do to.

Quality? Don't know if you're referring to the quality of the player or the quality audio playback. But from what I've seen/heard, neither seems to be significantly superior to other audio players.

As far as I can see, the only reason to use foobar is sheer amount of customisation that can be done... but without documentation, that feature is pretty useless.
