But yeah you are right, I should've said "solvent based printer" not solvent printer as it doesn't print solvent

Ah, I see. Do you happen to know which solvent it is? I'm experienced with the smell of a wide range of solvents due to my work so I may know what smell you are experiencing if you tell me . My personal favourite is toluene, though it's quite bad for you (severely worsened my eyesight in my left eye after I had a toluene poisoning).

Ah, that's a fruit ester. Smells of fruit, but not strongly. Could be worse, tbh. Of the commonly used solvents, my least favourite one is probably ethyl acetate which is somewhat related to your solvent - it is also a fruit ester, but smells much more strongly of cheap glue. Most people don't mind it but I can't stand it.
