No, it's Virgin, which isn't necessarily bad, but I share it with five other people and it's wireless. So I get sporadic drops all the time.

What package do you have with Virgin? I never get my internet throttled. Are you sure you don't just have a truly sucky router? The lastest ones they are handing out suck donkey dong ...

I think the 30 mb one which the landlady said was "extremely fast" >.> . Although it is possible the router sucks, it works fine at other times. Besides, it's usually only the download speed that suffers. Furthermore, I went to that website where they test whether your internet is being throttled, and it came out positive, so yeah. For my new place which I'm going to move into at the end of the month I'm going for a wired 60 mb package from them.
