EA cancelling of Generals 2 is probably the biggest troll in gaming history ever Or are they simply listening what players has said and doing it again? No way...

You can't sell a game if all the fans are refusing to play it. And anyone who's ever liked a C&C game and having seen what C&C4 looked like would definitely not approach Generals 2

Indeed, we didn't ask for anything more. Hell, it would be ok for me if they only improve the visuals and make it worthy of this age, leave the rest as it is if you are not gonna make it better

Indeed. EA specialise in mediocrity. A Generals improved remake is orthogonal to their business strategy. Generals was already way too good, it cost them loads of sales over time.

IKR, I mean, Generals is still selling to this very day thanks to the mods. Can't have a game do so well and be polished by the community.

Actually the pathfinding in this new "game" they called Generals 2 was worse.

Really the only thing Generals needs is better netcode, if you can get rid of all the things caused by bad networking like mismatches, Generals with Shockwave would be pretty be a perfect multiplayer RTS.

Well, judging from some people they hired, it looked like they were going to make a big push for esports... again. I don't see how a C&C game, however good, is going to make a dent in the market share Blizzard product has there.
