Printing is no problem, I've got a printing shop just one street away from me and they did a damn fine job printing my Doom poster. But do you do recreation of existing posters then? Oo

I am using graphic design programs for other purposes but i am pretty sure i can do it. There is no way to turn a low resolution picture into hd, you can make it a bit sharper and stuff but overall quality will be not much different.
I am not sure what you really mean by recreating an existing poster though.

To be honest, because it's such a simple design, the quake poster might look quite good vectorised.

Might be, but the metallic bronze texture of the quake logo might be lost, and that's a really big part of the look.

I'm sure there's bigger, higher-quality versions of that boxart, but nothing good enough for A0 format.

I have no idea how to turn low resolution image into high resolution, not sure it can be done too

I mean control-wise. Couldn't give a shit about graphics. >_> (I've been playing KF1 on low on my Mac at work for a couple of years - the flashlight doesn't even light anything up )

I'd probably get on fine with the controls if I hadn't played the PC version, but I find the weapon switching kinda fiddly. It's not easy to switch to a specific weapon.

I played Quake 2-3(even 4) when it first came out and liked them. Now it just doesn't appeal anymore :( Must. invade. countries. on Civ5. again!
