Did you actually change the file extension of the text file? There should be an option in Windows that lets you see file extensions. Activate that option and check if the filename is Options.ini.txt. If it is, then change the .txt to .ini and Windows should warn you about changing the file extension.

If you've done this right it should work, if it doesn't you just suck.

That is somehow worse than the few shit ideas I have.

The only vaguely OK name I've come up with so far is 'shadowduck', and that's only because I used that name in Persona 5. It always made me chuckle, because it would rarely be shown and I'd always forget I used it.
