Yes, it would, but it's a work computer, so I have no choice .

A normal mouse (a Logitech, specifically).

What version of OSX you on? I'm using a logitech, and apart from changing the scroll direction and speed, I don't think I did anything specific and it works fine. I am stuck on a slightly older version of OSX though. Wouldn't surprise me if they changed everything up again. I know they removed '£' from keyboards, and replaced it with '#' in the latest version, because fuck consistency.

You can right click with a Mac mouse, it's just not enabled by default because of reasons.

Something High Sierra or something. If you want I can look up the exact version number tomorrow.

Yes, this is in general. It's just how the OS treats mousewheel inputs, it seems.

Apparently, the workaround apps used to disable "ExtremeScrollAcceleration" were disabled since "Mountain Lion", but I now found a program called "Smooze" which does still work .
