They haven't deleted anyone (this time), just removed the blue verified tick from pretty much everyone that had it.

Apparently "people" thought the tick meant that YouTube were endorsing the channel, so they are redesigning the look of verification. I have no idea how that leads to moving the goal posts for verification though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

YouTube are doing their usual terrible job of explaining a change literally no-one asked for.

Well everyone and their dog is saying it's like CoD 4, but it's REALLY not.

I do have some complaints, obviously, but overall it seems to be pretty decent. I think ten years ago I would've spat on it, but in context, it may do .
