I am planning to make a game myself. But i can't decide if i should do it a platformer or a top-down rpg. Isometric seems way too difficult for my current level of knowledge.

Idea in my head has an unique style. Implementing it will be difficult though. Coding is frustrating but feels very nice once you accomplish the task!

"The Typing of Chyrosran", in which you fight demons and other horrible creatures with keyboards, in a similar style as Typing of the Dead. You can find new Keyboards in the level that either deals more damage, slows down enemies while you type, or causes AoE blasts upon finishing a word. On the flipside, you can also find keyboards that are worse than the ones you start with. Keyboards that break, where certain buttons either don't work or get stuck, and of course ones that have the wrong types of switches. The crux is that it's a score based game, and you can only achieve the highest scores by using the worst keyboards in the game. And of course, all of this should be accompanied by our lovely Keyberd Kemist and his flattering commentary.

It'd sell out instantly.
