Hmm, I actually kind of like the TV series for just that. The game is... a LOT of game, so to speak .

I'd like the series more if they took the main story of the game and implemented it exactly the same way, without changing a thing. Would have been another hit like GoT.

But instead they went for the books, which seems to be worse.

I mean there's nothing to say they won't adapt the storyline of the games later - chronologically they're set after the books so it makes sense to do them first.
