I'm just getting a bit sick of the same game being released over and over again. Like, I'm sure a lot of work will have gone into Far Cry 6, and I'm sure there will technically be improved / new mechanics, but I'm sure it will fundamentally be the same Far Cry game that was been released the last 5 times (including standalone expansions), which in turn is basically the same (mechanically) as most other modern Ubisoft games. Just give me something actually new and interesting. :tard:

You ask for something new and interesting and did not play Monster Hunter World yet? :cone:

Should try Subnautica (asap) if you didn't.

I've got plenty of games to play (i.e. non-stop Factorio), but it's just mildly frustrating to see all the amazing artist/dev/etc talent wasted on these big games that are so bland and uninteresting. I genuinely don't understand how people still get excited for Far Cry or Assassin's Creed any more. If it's your first time playing the series, I'm sure you'll have fun but how are people not sick of these games at this point!?

Kids i assume. When i was a kid, I played Digimon World 2 for thousands of hours. (and 3rd one for hundreds of hours) Now i wouldn't even play it for 10 minutes.

Millions of new batch of kids being released every year so i guess they keep getting those. (which is their main target audience)
Assassin's Creed Valhalla looks lame to me but i am pretty sure there are millions of kids out there which can't wait for it.

We need more video game companies like Unknown Worlds!

FC3 was fantastic. Really quite different from what was out at the time, and the characters (well, Vaas) was spectacularly well-done. FC4 was great as well, very nice surroundings, although it was basically more of the same. FC5 was horrible; the whole redneck thing wasn't interesting in the slightest. Primal was spears, bows and arrows, so no guns, so not even worth investigating.

One of the most important aspects of the series IMO was the visiting of remote and exotic, beautiful places. Almost like a travelling simulator with guns. This combines two interests of mine, so the series is in principle well-geared towards me :xD: .

An American study revealed that in the First World War it took about 7000 rounds of small arms ammunition to kill a single enemy soldier. By the time of the Vietnam War, this had risen to about 25,000 rounds. The average sniper required 1.3 rounds.

I think a recent test they did to try and shoot down a commercial drone took 25k rounds and didn't even hit it.

This is why Rangers can't target vehicle drones!

That's why you use Missile Defenders :cone:

English is weird. That sounds like those guys are defending the missile! It should be Defenders with Missile!

The change to garrisons is needed. We had a few cheap wins from garrison spam.

Yeah it's pretty good. It's like a large scale Red Orchestra with a focus on squad movement around the map.
