Man, watching back that Collector Ship scene from Mass Effect 2 still gives me goosebumps. Such a highlight from that game, probably my favourite scene from the entire series.

I'm watching a longplay of the ME series. I've played through it multiple times myself, but I can have this on in the background at work. I might play the whole series again when the remaster comes out in May.

It's easy to forget how amazing these games are. I guess I was so crushed by how stupid the ME3 original ending was that I'd kind of forgotten, but it's easily one of the best universes and stories I've ever seen in a game.

Completely agree, I think it's my favourite universe not in only in games, but any media. The ending was dumb, but the final mission is amazing, and probably one of my favourites in the series.

Indood. That Collector Commander's subtle expression when he is freed from the Reaper's control right before he died was a nice touch too.

Also it had a great musical score too which suited perfectly to Suicide Mission.
