If it was your childhood game, chances are you are not going to enjoy it now I spent thousands of hours on Digimon World 2 and Monster Rancher 2 now i can't stand them, like wtf, how i played those that much!

Yeah, quite a few remakes have left me pretty cold as well. The Cod 4 one for example.

However, there's plenty of remakes I still think will be pretty good. There's going to be Monster Bash and Raptor remaster; they're done by the same guy who did the Crystal Caves remaster, and that was very nicely done. I really liked the Grim Fandango one that come out a while back. And I've got high hopes for the Diablo 2 one .

Also, Monster Rancher 2 had quite weird feature. You could pull out the disc and put any other disc (could be music or movie cds too!) and it could create a monster for you. I was obsessed at trying all the disc i could find!

I've only played ME1 so far, and the graphics are definitely noticeably better than vanilla ME1. They're even better than ME1 with mods too.

There's also a lot of quality of life improvements and UI improvements.

Played the original for 44 hours to finish it, this time I'm 40 hours in and I think I'm about halfway the story .
