Yeah, same. It's one of the more memorable missions, but it still hit me like a ton of bricks. D:

It's a very powerful scene for sure. Peak storytelling and acting right there.

This ship's going down in flames. I've got the only way out. I'm offering to take you with me. And you're arguing.

I'm still chugging through ME1, the story is definitely still as good as ever but even with the improvements forgot how awfully stale the gameplay is. Definitely now remember why I've only played this one through once whereas I swear I played through ME2 at least a dozen times across all classes/difficulties.

All the more to look forward to in ME2. <)

Agreed. ME1 really shows its age, even when remastered. Still great, but really only story-wise.

ME2 is such a big step up it's staggering. In the graphics department too. You can see there was a lot more to work with in the ME2 remaster part than in ME1.

I guess I'll stop quoting semi-spoiling quotes considering everyone appears to still be playing through :xD: .

The overall plot is great in ME1, but the character development is terrible. :xD:

So far in this play through I've had far more fun with ME1 gameplay than ME2. There is a serious lack of customisation in ME2.

ME1 feels like a chore. Especially all the stupid Mako landing missions are awful.

I agree that ME2 doesn't have that many skills in it, although I guess part of the point is that you're supposed to do those loyalty missions so that you can train in your helpers' skills. But even then it's only a few skills. I'm fine with that though, personally. It's still got more of a skill tree than Diablo 3 :P .

How the fuck you became a chemist then? I fear for the safety of the people in your department |:

Gameplay of ME3 is the best imo. Multiplayer (Co-op VS AI waveclear mode) was quite fun too, sad not many players was there.

I disagree tbh. I didn't like the "cooling down" type weapons. Much prefer the thermal clips from ME2. Also the ME2 weapons stood apart from each other much more, rather than upgrading from Naginata VII to Naginata VIII etc. all the time.

It's certainly not perfect, but ME2 goes too far in the other direction, imo. You can't even compare weapons in ME2! D:

ME:A is the worst at that, so many weapons, it feels like an arpg and the weapon browsing UI is horrible. I liked it otherwise.

Those big video game titles seriously needs better UI design.

It's because they need to cater to console gamers, and console gamers ruin everything!

Consoles are the reason big budget games exist. You should be thanking console gamers for the ME trilogy ^)

Wait.

You HAVE a PC.

But if you had MONEY, you'd buy a CONSOLE instead.

You're doing it LITERALLY the wrong way around! Consoles are for people who have no money or don't like video games!
