I used to enjoy Factorio solo but now after trying it on multiplayer, solo feels "meaningless" :( Not that mp has meaning either but feels different.

What is it with human psyche that triggers this? Why collaboration and competition feels better than a relaxed solo experience?
Lets find out!
I actually had the opposite. I used to play it in multiplayer, but I can really only play it solo now.

Might also something to do with that i played for dozens of hours in a week Oo

I found that as soon as I missed a single session, I could never catch up with what had happened in the meantime. I'd lag behind forever afterwards.

It is rather interesting to see the approach of other people to a similiar problem.
I tend to build small factories that barely meets the demand. And then there is Bob... builds 137 furnaces, 378 assembly machines just for an ingredient xD

Once I found an efficient way to play Factorio, I started enjoying it less, actually. I kinda enjoyed it when I cramped the shit out of everything and had to make all kinds of weird constructions to save everything :xD: . I found messy factories more interesting than clean ones.

I might try that at some point but i just can't seem to find the "perfect map" to do my ultimate playthrough. I started over many times, maps just don't click with me :(

Yeah, that's why I don't understand people insist on playing without cliffs on. "They're so annoying"... Oh no! You have to actually work within the constraints of a randomly generated map, rather than building the exact same factory on a perfectly flat empty map every time! :(

Yeah, I think that was offset by all the new stuff we had to get used to, but I'd prefer to have it on next time.

Also, the ability to place things down extremely far away is completely OP and I definitely abused it when biters were getting through the walls. :xD:

Yeah kinda ruins the difficulty while dealing with early biters, you can just set walls and turrets :/

Also, it was 31c INSIDE the house when i got back from work |:

I watched I'm thinking of ending things a couple of days ago, and I can't stop thinking about it.

It's really dark and weird.
