There's been a bunch already =o . CNC1, RA1, WC3, AoE, and they're busy with an AoM one.

Apparently Petroglyph are releasing a new WW1-themed RTS in about a month's time.

Honestly i do not consider upscaling the resolution as a remaster. I need more like a remake. Just like what Capcom is doing with Resident Evil.

This is what I was about to write. DoW 1's mechanics were great, but the maps could do with being a bit bigger and everything zoomed out a bit (like in Blitz).
