It's...yeah...there's quite a lot of references to events that happened in season 1 that can make you feel really lost if you just started from Season 3.


Season 2 is entirely self-contained though.

I had hopes that ST Picard would be more like how Picard talked and did things in TNG with his firm moral leadership and Shakespearean talking but...well, he's really become and old man so I don't blame him. But season 3 is where everything is better !
