Sims 4 went free to play over a year ago, so it's also free on Steam, EA, PS Store and Xbox.

I enjoyed, it for a while... Put in 1600 hours~

I've given up on it though. Sims 4 is really old at this point, and really badly built under the hood. I was just blindly buying each DLC at one point, then I started only getting the expansions, and now I just don't bother playing at all. What you get in each DLC is so pitiful and buggy. The 'stuff packs' are especially a joke.

According to Steam, if you want all of the DLC it will cost you £638.99 (And most DLC is on sale atm)

I'm somewhat holding out hope for Sims 5 - In part because they're starting to get competition in the genre, and I'm really hoping they learnt the lesson when they released Sim City, and City Skylines came in and decimated them.
