Well yes, it is not as bad as Russia's. But "his" supporters are quite fanatic, so that's why he is dangerous. I bet he will want to either start another military operation in Syria or Iraq very soon to look powerful again.

Government owns or controls most of the main news channels. So they smear campaign 24/7 all the way through. But, actual voting is protected by the opposition parties. So they can't really steal votes except maybe on remote parts of the country.

Erdogan is a symptom, real issue we have is massive amount of uneducated, bigot people. He just know how to control them. Even with horrible economic situation, they still come out as close 2nd party on municipality elections.

This is from his speech right after latest election results. He tries really hard to hide his rage but i can see it. This is the face of a guy which is about to snap. I know because i had it most of my life, first time seeing him this way though
