The two biggest pluses of Satisfactory for me were that you were more forced into making creative solutions whereas in Factorio, with all its open space, the ideal layout is pretty much worked out, and everything else is suboptimal, so there's much less creative freedom (especially as it lacks a 3rd dimension). I also found that looking at the high-res, 3D models of your produce up close from a FPS perspective was much more satisfying than watching abstracted 2D sprites from orbit.

Both are great games though. I may yet still give Factorio another go, but there's so much stuff that has priority right now.
