No, I spent it somewhat annoyed at how careless and unsafe some of my colleagues work >.> .

Though I'm doing beer and board games with a few friends in a bit so at least that's nice.

Yeah! Playing anything good, or is it just whatever someone brings?

Probably some Spirit Island which is a really cool co-op game where you play as natural spirits trying to repel human invaders from an island. It's awesome, you can play as an ocean spirit and swallow towns and cities close to the shore, or a volcano spirit that builds and eventually explodes, or animal spirits that use unsuspected tigers or bird swarms etc. We play it a lot, definitely a recommendation!

And probably also something small on the side .

It really helps if you play that game with someone who's already played it, it makes it much smoother. It's cooperative anyway so it pays to help eachother out, and if you're new it's not always easy to know how to approach the game.
