OK so I tried the Dawn of War remaster, must say that I understand now what I didn't like about the look about it back in the day. It's very cartoony and not grim or dark at all - I think it would've looked way better if it looked like Dust Front.

That said, it's fun :) . And 40k lore is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Dark Eldar stronghold is dark and grim, attack those mofos to experience it a bit |8
I refunded it. It is same, no changes in it that worth paying for, modders could do it better.

For dark and grim setting (but still watered down to be fun), you should try Darktide, really captures the 40k aesthetics.

I wish they made a survival horror 40k (a space marine prisoner trying to escape Dark Eldar, or controlling a human whose world invaded by Dark Eldar)

DoW 1 did come from a different age of video games where everything looked a bit shit.

And 40k grim dark is more the content and story, because the models it's based on can be painted as anything.

Darktide is not on the pirate bay but I've put it on my wishlist :) .

What's causing the pain? Cavities, sensitive teeth....?
