Honestly even in the first season it goes in so many directions at once, it's like they just threw out a bunch of fishing lines and hoped a few would catch 
.
Not bad watching, mind. Just obviously conceptually flawed in hindsight. Modern series don't typically operate like that anymore.

Ink Master is pretty good to watch .
