Can't seem to get my windows upgraded to 11 by any means, I've tried just about anything, even the setup option that wipes all your programs and files. It still refuses to.

I guess a total reinstall of everything with a boot drive is the only option I've left D; .

If it wasn't for game support, I'd honestly just go full mac at this point. It's not perfect, but windows is just such a miserable experience at this point.

I like the idea of Linux, but there are so many distros it's hard to know where to start.

Yeah I agree, it's another reason I've never tried. I think it's popular enough these days (especially with how crappy windows 11 is) that I could find a decent enough tutorial/advice on what Linux is best for me.

The software has always kept me windowing, but with Adobe being even bigger shits than Microsoft, I'm considering ways of escaping them too.

Ultimately gaming will keep me on windows for the time being.
