I remember watching Lost way too long ago, and couldn't get into it. When i did recently, i binge watched it and was consumed by it.

Being in the right frame of mind, whatever that phenomenon is, surely changes things.

I don't know which version of Blade Runner I watched, but I think it was on Prime Video, so whatever version was on there.

I think I watched 2049 as well, but I honestly don't remember anything from either.

Maybe I'll try again at some point. Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind.
2049 was amazing when I watched it in the cinema. It was raining when I left which added to the magic (I bought the soundtrack as soon as I got home).

I didn't like Bladerunner the first time I watched it. I think it's hyped up so much because the influence it has had on the genre. My recommendation is a big screen in the dark and treat it like you're listening to an album that also has pictures.

Christ, why is everything from my wishlist that's coming out of late getting mixed reviews? Oo

Examples?
Is this not the Golden Age that we were promised? )%
Quite a few I've already removed unfortunately :( . So I forgot about them. But some that are left are Beneath, Decks of the Damned, Dying Breed, Fata Deum, Borderlands 4, Little Fighter 2 remastered, Broken Arrow, The Siege and the Sandfox, Auto Sale Life, Battlefall, Crown of Pain, and though not official, '83 would probably have gotten Mostly Negative if it had a release yet.

A lot of those games are super cheap though, so many some people have too high expectations when they are making their reviews?

'83 was awful. (Just checked, the developers are from Cornwall. Makes sense... bloody Cornish!)

'83 was an unbelievable disappointment. Can't believe how bad it is compared to the source material as well.

There's a part of me that wants to believe the source material you're referring to is the cold war.

RO2 (and it's offspring) play well even today. '83 felt like playing a memory of those games reflected in a puddle. None of the things that made RO2 good were present, but all the shit bits decided to hang around. Whatever version of Unreal they are running on makes Bethesda's game engine look like a masterpiece. I can see why the original developers of '83 gave up.

I have seen people leving negative reviews to 10$ games they have played for 500 hours :L
They don't like a little change made to the game (it is usually very trivial shit) so they leave bad review. Spoiled brats |8

Nowadays, if i play a 40$ game for 40 hours, i consider it as a very good game!
