Members of the board.
It has come to our attentions that Signature carried by many of you are in Violation of our size restriction and forum neutrality. all signatures within a 500x350 pixels is acceptable but beyond that i would advice you to shorten them. Other members are also putting political messages in their signature. Although we don't mind you putting up your national or party flags we do not appreciate those clubbed with political messages in connection with the real world situations. This is because actions like these politicises the whole forum and since this is predominantly a forum relating to computer games we appreciate keeping all political adventures in the deep end section of the forum and not drag it to the rest of the forum. I hope you all understand our predicament and resize, remove or de-politicise your signatures.

You have 1 week to comply. After that all signatures violating our forum neutrality and oversized Signatures will be Removed by the Staff without any advance notice.

I hope you all comply to make everyone's stay on the forum a bit more pleasant.

Ok, I will inform my friend who has a majorly conservative signature that is too large to change it and to save his political stuff for the right place on the forums.

Can you issue warnings? Anytime this week for all the inept who cant find out size of thing.

at 800x600 resolution the signature should not cover more then half the browser screen and at 1024 resolution it should just about be 1/3 of the browser window..

the signature size you and i have are the perfect target.

the image is just 160 in height and the text is half the size of the image. so i am guessing its less then 300pixels in height. so you are in the clear.

Yours is fine, as it contains no political slogans, only the fact you are proud to be an American. I have a userbar that says the same thing (as do several other Americans) AND CodeCat has Proud to be European/Dutch/Irish/Communist, so you are definately in the clear. That, and your sig is about the right size. Retry, you have nothing to worry about.

Foxhound, you could actually squish those things together, but as of now, you can skate in under the radar

You could, OR

1). Look at the members around you and if your sig is roughly the same size as their's and you know they are in compliance with the rules, then you are good

or

2). PM a moderator to see if your sig checks out.

These are just 2 suggestions that you can follow.

Billy you can try cropping the bottom part of the pic. Will be much more better.

My current one is 417 x 208 which fits the 500x350 pixels rule, but i can't help but think that it looks bigger than that, that is what photoshop said though so it must be fine... also if anyone needs help resizeing thier signatures i would be happy to do it for them in photoshop, as it takes 2 minutes.
