Well ... Don't Laugh ... I am Trying to Learn how To Create A New Game ... Using Jad Engine ...
I know I look Totaly Stupid Beginning more than one thing and not completing any of them :bonk:
But that's not my fault Well ... Such As C vs C Mod And H-vs-I Mod ... I always wanted to do anything Like A Mod For A game Or Things ... But I am Not finding The Help I needed ...
Anyway ... I am Now Learning how To Create A New Game ( Using The Jad Engine ) but this will Need Too Much Help ... So I will Now Just Learn how To BeGin With The Project ... I won't Begin with anything Else Until I get Enough Help I won't be A n00b again ...
Everything Is Available ... Tutorials ... Tools Needed ... ( Such As Max to Haddd Exporter ) The Haddd is the Extention this game will use for models ... Jad Codes Source ... And Everything else Needed to create this thing ...
Ok Now Ive Had Enough Talk I think ...

I have discovered a New Thing in the JADEngine ...
It Uses .Cs instead of .INI in the Generals ...

let me explain a few things....
this game is going to be based on the zero hour storyline, but it has nothing to do with the game other than that, nothing from the game can be used ( because of either 1. its not compatible or 2. copyright). The whole game has to be created by us, i really don't mean to sound harsh, but i'm not quite sure you fully know what you are getting yourself into , this project is going to take alot of time to even get a playable version, let alone version thats good enough to enjoy. Once again, i do not mean to be mean or harsh or anything, i'm just trying to get you to understand a little bit more

1) you have to recreate the whole new evironment that includes terrain, trees, rocks, buildings etc
2) you have to do high poly models of Generals
3) EA copy Rights
4) How are you gonna rebuild the base building process seen in generals
5) Some of the stuff would require access to source codes and require high level of programming ability to mold those codes and implement those stuff. It isn't the same as ini editing. this is hard core programming
6) There are no developer tools that i have seen so far. except for those few polish guys developing their own which i doubt they will release to public this soon.

i have no idea how to use this jade engine, and nor does abourror, so i am going back to darkbasic, which i know how to use, so sorry abourror, but you've lost a co-leader...
