You looked like you liked Getbackers. I saw it in the Philippines when I was visiting. I can't say I could get into it.

Not a big fan of anime..but several of my friends are big fans, so I've seen a bit and know what I like:
1. Cowboy Bebop: first anime I liked...very reminicent of Firefly and very, very good
2. Samurai Champloo
3. Yukikaze: fighter aircraft, nuff said
4. Record of Lodoss War: oldie but a goodie
5. Big O: obligatory giant robot anime
6. Ghost In The Shell: SAC
7. Berserk
I usually like the ones that have a good story and aren't aimed at little girls or perverts :locky: Usually if they try to be funny, they just come off as asinine.

Yeah.. those long anime franchises with tons of filler archs, oh god, the "humour" in those has to be some of the most embarrassing stuff ever made.

Animes I've watched start to finish in no particular Order:
Big-O (Only first series)
Gaogaigar
Nadesico
Shin Getter vs. Neo Getter OVA
Macross (Under the guise of Robotech. Uuh, horrible Americanisation but was good nonetheless.)
RahXephon (Was good until the last 3 episodes or so. Evangalion syndrome ftl.)

Animes I've watched some of and would like to watch the rest:
Macross 7
V Gundam
GEAR Fighter Dendoh
Getter Robo
Mazinkaiser OVA

Currently I'm eyeing off a Dancougar torrent on Demonoid... Damn, wish they'd open up subscriptions.

There's no difference between anime and anime movies. They are both anime and should be defined as such.

Well you guys have covered alot of my fave anime but i'll highlight my favorites

1. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Really, this affected my thinking, i've become slightly more aware of the world than I ever had.
2. F/SN, GITSAC - If awesomtastic was a word, that would describe these two.
3. Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Alchemist - tied since I couldn't decide, both are relatively win.
4. Cowboy Bebop - I even have a little Ein plushy :P
5. Bleach - Great UNTIL it went into huge arc mode, I stopped watching it by 80.
6. AZMD - Funny as hell, a fantastic humorous anime, think of it as light reading.
7. Noir - Early it seemed a generic action anime, but later on it's much more psychological.
