The Nazis had a tendency to press foreign tanks in service due to their slow production rate. They didn't fully mobilize their industrial assets till 1944.

They are similar............that's a bit suprising. I wouldn't be suprised however if the inspiration for the Scorpion's design was taken from a bunch of different tanks.

I still think the Scorpion is a combination of a bunch of light tanks from WWI.

Scorpion is a combination of an old age turret and a trash can and a few tank tires founded over battlefield .

Not even close. The Renault FT is way too tiny.

Well you're nearly right and I am too. You see, both of these designs (the T-26 and 7TP) came from an even earlier design: the Vickers 6-ton tank.

Anyways, the Scorpion doesn't really appear to be a direct descendant of any tank. It appears that it is a heavily modified design of an older tank or it could be shit thrown together from the scrap heap

Of course not. There is a tank with 100% visual resemblance, but the name will always be different :P
