Well... Mostly Anime's come from Mangas, so if there are no Mangas there will be no Anime.
Anime - Animated, come from Manga's, Like Animated manga w/voices
Manga - in filipino it means Mango(yellow or green), Comics,
In Manga IT IS VERY COMPLETE.
In Anime Important parts of the manga are only drawn.
esample - Tantei Gakuen Q, the tattoo of Ryuu Amakusa was shown in the manga, but not in the anime.
