Why not instead of shooting hammers, it's weapon is a rediculously large mallet that flattens troops to pancakes in one blow and crushes tanks in 2 swings of its mighty head?

Nuker, are you sort of blending the thread with nova's skillet tank idea- having it hit units (but not with a frying pan).

Well, maybe the frying pan could be an upgrade?

OR if the unit would be a cannon as originally intended, it should "throw" hammers/mallets like the turtles from Super Mario did (hammer "flew" end over end).
