Eve Online.

Quote

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.
- Vladimir Solovyov

Nope .

Next time, wait until you get conformation that you guessed it right before assuming.

Indeed, he should, but you might as well give the answer anyway - it's pretty been well over a month and thus pretty much expired.

Fine... The game I picked was Strife. The first and possibly only RPG built on the seriously outdated Doom engine.

Gratuitous Space Battles! This game was underwhelming to me. Thought it would allow more control :whaa:

oh, and you're correct, it's GSB

The idea is that you're a Frenchman :xD:

Also, is this a NFS game? Seriously I can't recall the name of this game despite having played it
EDIT : On second thought, seeing there is only one brand of cars I'd say it must be Porsche Challenge

Indeed, it's Porsche Challenge.

I only remember 2 things about that game; 1. I repeatedly kicked one of my friend's Dad's arse on it and 2. There was a "Fish eye lens" cheat the seemingly did nothing. :/

That was in fact the second racing game I bought on PS1, first one being NFS hence my confusion, and I don't ever cheat in racing games anyway :/
I didn't play for too long though since I had discovered Gran Turismo :D

EDIT : Here's a game I really enjoyed on PS1; it should be rather easy to find...

Another PS1 game, I believe it's a rather obscure one. I originally picked it up for £5. :/

Nah, it's not Wipeout, the Hud is wrong. I tried to Google to search for a sci-fi PS1 racing game but couldn't find any that looked similar D:

Not WipEout, but it is a similar premise, hence why I bought it. :D

EDIT: It doesn't have a wiki page either, so don't bother looking there. :/

EDIT2: It would appear this game also had a different name in Japan (I don't even know if it was released in America).

Neither the European nor the Japanese name has much information on the interwebs, and that's partly to do with the fact that both names have been used in other, more successful games.

Ive trawled the internet including Konami's list of PS1 games and this list and found nothing...

Either you have made that image from scratch or it is a PS1 game so obscure that that is the only image of it.

Hmm, funny how the names have a wikipedia page to something completely different, but comparing screenshots it seems to be Speed King, possibly also called Road Rage?

Indeed, the European version is called Road Rage.

'twas a good game, from what I remember, had the equivalent of mag strips from WipEout, long before they did it. D8
