There are so many games with "insert coin" in them that aren't be arcade versions, so that doesn't say much. In fact, according to its wiki page, it was first released "for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991 and then ported to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in 1993, Amiga in 1992, Sega Game Gear in 1993, and Amiga CD32 in 1994" but not for the arcade.
