From watching videos of real explosions they often eject lots of debris / embers which often travel pretty far. Thats the look I was going for. I would have prefered to have made the trails a bit smokey, but that would increase the already pretty high particle count.

If you have time, I'm in need of an Explosion FX for a Superweapon-Bomber. Should be about the size of an Alpha-Aurora explosion.

It doesn't really matter, although it should stay realistic, so no green and blue ;-)

Just a normal bomb explosion only bigger

So did you end up finding that particle cannon stuff?

Btw, this looks interesting, any idea how to work it or what it does?

   &#59;MaxIntensityLifetime = 2000	&#59;Laser stays at max intensity for specified time in ms.
   &#59;FadeLifetime = 0			   &#59;Laser will fade and delete.

   &#59;@todo -- add shot ability functionality (instead of instant point A to B)

Not touched code like that for a while, I imagine it does what the info says? Try it :P - I didn't find the particle cannon stuff.

Oh and Stalker, you wouldn't happen to have anymore textures lying about? Those Crysis / HL2 ones have been extremely useful.

Ion, Could you make a new Nuclear Explosion for the superweapon? and another Maybe a little smaller so a unit can use it, but please, dont hold yourself back on this go all out. Its for a new mod and all of your other fx have been masterful.

could i request 2 small things please. [soz i dont have internet so its a little hard to get on here].

1: The blue ferret explosion "from the movie stealth" for aurora's fuel air bomb. never liked that small explosion.
2: Nuke Massive Red Flare Like the one in "Aliens Vs Predator Requim" at the end of the movie. if its to much to ask for them both i will just ask for #2.
I Like Red allot , kind of like the red when u see around DEVIL MAY CRY lol.

Pm me please as i cant check this out often enogh as i would like.

Thanks in advance either way. it's a nice thing you got going here , would love to learn myself , just have to find some tuts and get my internet back at home.

Public effects may be a little slow in being produced for a short while. I have a pretty heavy workload at uni to get through and my priority is EC.

Not sure if you are still doing this Ion, but if you are, could you make a public Napalm/Dragon Tank Fire particle that is better than the current ones? :xD:
