For those not in the know, Playfire is a site that lets you keep track of all you gaming activity (both PC and console games) and Green Man Gaming is a games store that has a unique feature that lets you trade in digital games... Don't ask me how it works since I don't have a clue, and haven't tried it out myself yet.
The games are: Zombies, Unstoppable Gorg, Superstar V8 Next Challenge and Ninja Blade... You can find out more about the offer here. Maybe not the biggest games out there, but no-one can argue with free games and you will also eventually be able to trade those games in if you don't want them, so you can put them towards a game you really want!
There's also going to be a MS Points/PSN competition on Tuesday.
Just thought I'd spread the word.

I've been given a Bob coin from Mr. Bob, a life time supply of cookies from Blonde-Unknown, some Internet Chocolate from the Full Throttle mod team, and some Assorted Weapons from Høbbesy.

They have done free games before, they're all pretty terrible unfortunately. It's almost not worth bothering except that sometimes you get store credit for getting the free games (better than free!).
Regardless, it isn't exactly something to get excited about.

*sigh* Did any of guys even use the new Origin client?
Or are you just still in the mentality of hating on everything EA makes? Cause for Origin at least, they did take into consideration the users' feedback...

No. The beta is another issue.
I had issues, for example, when I wasn't in any game and I would continually get a popup saying press x to go to overlay (whatever the actual message says). Also had an issue where the origin browser would get stuck to the top of firefox, so I couldn't use it until after I closed Origin.

The process is pretty painless, literally just press a button to download, and then a button to install.
