I'm not saying I've been playing Factorio too much, but I had a dream last night where I had left Factorio running and gone to bed. I was periodically waking up to check on progress of things. I discovered we were running lower on power, so I set the bots to build some more solar panels and fell asleep again. When I woke up I found that General had not only stopped that, but he dismantled all of the solar panels in the base for some reason. As a result, we had no power and for some reason no personal/vehicle lights were working either, so it was pitch black. I then got a message from General asking whether I had seen his email yet. I alt + tabbed out to look for it but fell asleep again. When I got back General was messaging me in Chinese for some reason.

I never did find out what the email was about; Please tell me General.

Obviously i was asking for ransom.
(must be that you have noticed the solar fields i have been building to the east and your brain brought that up randomly)

Also i have noticed something about dreams, i have never been inside of a 2D game i have played, despite spending thousands of hours in total on those games. Yet i have seen i have either been in or in a similiar location of a 3D game. I think brain cannot process it the way it does with the 3D ones. Atleast mine wont.

Yeah, that's my guess too. I was watching Seaspiracy yesterday (highly recommend it) and there was a bit in Hong Kong, which is presumably where the Chinese thing came from too.

Don't have to, i am aware what is going on in the planet

Also am a big fan of the idea that either forced sterilization or strict birth control worldwide must happen asap. If needed we can clone beautiful humans or breed them by other means.

There should be a special resource menagement game made for politicians. And those who cannot finish it will not be allowed to lead their country and critical ministries.
Scratch that, they will cheat on that game too...

It wasn't a full on nightmare, but it definitely was a creepy dream.

I have this reasonably common thing in some of my dreams (which has ended up becoming a lucid trigger for me) where I will go an switch on a light, but the light doesn't turn on and in fact the room somehow gets darker and there is just then general sense of things not being right / being watched. And that's kinda what happened in that dream, it was just normal Factorio until I realised all the solar panels were gone and then suddenly the base was really dark and foreboding. When I scrolled back before the Chinese messages I had apparently repeated the same message over and over again, yet I had no memory of it. Unfortunately I don't remember what the message was now. I have no idea what the relates to in the real world though.

Yes, I read that light switches are a good lucid trigger as they never work correctly in dreams. Also checking a watch and then checking it again will show a different time.

It's probably likely that the message had no meaning, but just a feeling attached to it. Dreams are weird.
