[8 Players][ZH] Subzero City

Here the latest map I am working on. It doesn’t have a name
yet so suggestions are more than welcome. This 8 player map
is a Snow Urban map.
The city is still not totally finished but you get the idea of the
level of quality I'm trying to put into it.
There is also a train running around on those rail bridges.

Name suggestion: Out Cold
Some questions:
1] Will the train be garrisonable?
2] What is the size of the map?
3] How will units be able to reach the city?
Also the map looks it's going to be really nicely detailed, keep it up

1) There is now way to be able to get to the train it cannot be accessed. You
cant even get run over by it. Its above the ground your units pass under it.
2) 550x450.
3) Well they just go down the hill.

Thx for explaining, I thought those rocky slopes where inpassable and that the entrances where still to come.

Map Suggestions: (1) Try adding some water/ a river perhaps??
(2) Add some cars driving around in the city.

Don't do the cars. Possibility that there might be some mismatch issues. But you can do that if you want.

Yea, but it'll be cool to see cars moving around in the city. but, i agree, scripts might someitmes mess up the AI, dont do the cars.

I was thinking of putting some drains in so now ill definitely do it.
Nice names but a name that has something to do with snow and urban
would be good. Im hopeless at thinking up names.

GREAT map mate very good detail but make sure to keep the map objects low as possible and add some sounds to give a life to your map.

The detail in the urban part that you have finished is quite detailed. Kudos to you for that.
The only concern that I have for the map is that having that detail throughout the map will up the object count, which will in turn create lag for weaker machines.

Ok will do. I don’t really want to sacrifice detail for those people
who don’t have a big enough machine but I will try to keep it
reasonable.
Ah I remember when I first started mapping I wanted to make a
huge map and I maxed out the object count with just trees.

Well please consider im running a laptop, so keep the object count within the limits.
