Command and Conquer 3 Announced!
CodeCat 18 Apr 2006
It's not a joke people. Although I got my news second-hand it's still too important to pass.
Command & Conquer 3 has made its first official appearance.
This month's edition of the American magazine PC Gamer has a big C&C 3 on the front cover:
I didn't have the chance to read the magazine yet, but a friend of mine is going to post up some scans of the featured article as soon as he gets it. Be sure to keep an eye on the community sites (like PlanetCnC, CnCDEN etc) for more updates!

I doubt the specs would be too higher than generals... LOOK at the damn picture. I can run UT2k4 (on medium) on my 933mhz, 64mb geforce MX...

Thos pics are from before even Alpha Generals. I'm very sure that was the intitial version of Sage, which is really a heavily modded form of Renegade. (The early development of C&C3 was changed into Alpha Generals, then the released version.)
I believe Westwood made those before EA bought them. (Which is probably why alot of post Westwood employees left EA. EA kept changing the development into what became Generals.)
So, those pics are from about 2001.

Eh, we can't win them all. So now that this is confirmed, have they released a "ball-park" date as to when we can expect?
Many regards,

That piece of info has been there since the release of Generals.
Anyway, what do you have against Sage? It's very moddable and has much flexibility. Compare that to, say, the Empire at War engine...
