the gap between the two sets of treads is too big and turret is too big

turret needs to be SHORTER height wise
otherwise, its OK
and possibly wider? as in, it does not have straight sides. (the turret)

The turret could stand to be a little wider, and make sure the rear treads are longer than the front set. Other than that, the Mammoth looks good. Maybe the reason you didn't recognize it is because the Mammoth you see in Ion's sig is the brand new Mammoth from CnC 3.

Hmmm ... Ok Thanx for the Hint Major Nuker (and maybe Ur sig will be next coz I will model all tanks in everyones sig thats my project ) And SB ... I will fix It tomorrow coz I dont feel like modeling anymore

I'll admit, my sig isn't the greatest to get the proportions of the Merkava Mk. 4, but all things considered, that model isn't really that bad. Sure, it needs some work, but I'm sure if you look up the Merkava on Google, you'll find more than enough pics to help you reproportion some elements of your model.
