On the other hand, the exhaust/engine of the fighter looks kinda...weird...IDK. Maybe if you removed that thing sticking out at the end.

Yeah, I get that, I just think he could've been a bit more dynamic in his interpretation of the cockpit for a jet of this nature. It doesn't make it a bad model, just perhaps he could think a little more about it's setting.

I'm trying to think of a shape that is aerodynamically better than a pointy cilinder, but I honestly can't.

It doesn't have to be aerodynamically better, it should just be futuristic. Who is to say that in 400 years a brick won't be determined to be the most aerodynamic shape?!?

My point is, try and be original with it.

Heh, I was about to inform you and Kalo about that contest when I saw it on dA :o
Well, to be honest, I don't really like the space cargo ships, my idea of a space ship is that it should have a shape like the Normandy's one, so I can't really give any objective feedback on this
