@Alias: It's not actually my style, it's SpyvSpy's style I've been trying to immitate. As you might be able to see, I still need to practice my normalmapping.

Also nicknamed the "Space Shrew" due to its peculiar nose shape. Armed with 2 Gatlings in the protrusions in the thick part of the wings, 2 under-body missile bays, 4 30mt nuclear bunker busters in another under-body bay, a gauss gun in the nose, and a Laser in the tail (not modeled that yet). The weapons can be replaced by, respectively, 2 nukes, 4 nukes, and one more nuke for increased anti-ship firepower. Intended for planetary defense, these fighters are stored in underground bunkers. For launch, they are lifted onto a massdriver rail, fired up in the air, then the liquid fuel engines of the Helios itself and the two boosters engage. The Helios' rocket engines shut down once it's at mach 2, where the Scramjets are activated until there is no more air for them to work. At that time the liquid fuel boosters are jettisoned, and the rockets of the Helios are activated again untill it reaches Orbit, at which point the Fusion engines at the wingtips fire up. A single flight of 4 Helios' can destroy a cruiser. To land, they fly to the airfield on scramjets and fusion engines, and land vertically using underbody fusion thrusters, as well as thrusters in the wingtip pods.

Edit: Fancy description time!
The GXS Centaurus is the only Frigate of its kind currently in service with the Glisean Navy, and one of only two subcapital ships with Antimatter technology, as well as the only ship with antimatter technology allowed to land on planets, since its tanks at full capacity don't create an explosion bigger than 10 kilotons - but of 9 Kilotons - if they were breached, and thus aren't forbidden on planets. Interstellar regulations dictate that no explosive device with a potential explosive power exeeding 10 Kilotons may land on a planet.
Its SCR-AM reactors (Small Chamber Reactor - Anti Matter) generate immense ammounts of power, allowing this Frigate to use an FTL drive of its own, which is a first for Frigates, and also provides the spinal mass driver enough power to break a Terran carrier in half in a single shot. Cycling shields allow for extreme survivability - at full shields, it could survive a Supernova. Additionally it's armed with 6 quad-railgun turrets, 2 fusion bombs and several point-defense Xasers. The Centaurus could take on an entire Terran fleet on its own.
(Out-of-universe: It'd be like a BC304, powered by 3 ZPMs and upgraded with Asgard tech). The Centaurus was built using a 200 year old "Hades" class Frigate as base, leaving only the superstructure and main gun as it was. The outter hull was completely replaced by Thoranium armor, and several 20 meter thick Thoranium armor plates have been put in place on the frontal part of the ship. Also its engines have been replaced with six Type 4 (Cruiser-level) Fusion engines making this the most agile ship ever created. Lastly it can carry 10 fighters, 6 bombers, 4 dropships or 2 heavy dropships in its internal bay.

Reminds me of a Col. class Battleship from sins.

The main inspiration was the UNSC Destroyer "Heart of Midlothian" tho, for the upper frontal armor, the design is mine from thereon.

GET THIS IN-GAME, NOW.
...where did you get the model from anyway? Man, I'd kill to see the F/A-27, the F/A-1 Fand, F/A-2 Fand II, since I already have the models for the FFR-31MR/D and the FFR-41MR x3
Man, FAF fighters sure don't look bad with the US skin.
