I'm downloading now off the EA Link. I know none of you really care but I just can't contain my excitement.

The cool thing was I didn't even have to create a new EA Link account. I used my EA forum account.

who says torrents are warez?

All the sites that host the files are overloaded and torrents are the best option to get this free demo.

Also the pirates bay has it.

The ION cannon truly rocks.
But the nuke looks kinda wrong. Nothing from the cool explosion and glow like in Generals/shockwave.
Also the shell stuff tanks are ejecting is a little ackward and they're too big too. Buggies keeping their rockets while actually shooting it and so on.
Maybe minor stuff but I think a little more detail work on the units would have been good since the engine just invites you to zoom in.

Aside from hat the gameplay seems a little too fast, but let's see how it is in the full game.

Hey, can someone help me on installing, I downloaded from filecloud (took about an hour), and then when I open it, it unzips for like 5 mins, then "initializes" which for some reason has to do with connecting ot the internet, at which point it says it cannot connect and asks me to turn off firewalls and internet security temporarily. So I do so,a nd retry, stilll doesn't work, tried like 10 times, and it's not working, any tips on installation?

They dropped walls, apparently. Odd decision there, I guess if you can play the game without thinking "Gahh, I need walls" then it's alright I guess...

*Remembers a game of Red Alert 2 in which the opponent was making complete blocks of walls (As in, 20 by 10 tiles of solid walls)... That was a bad game, glad you can't do that in this one.*

I would have loved to see the BFME II wall system in CnC3.
Walls have the strategic value to stop fast moving attack squads. At least as long for the attack/defending force to be moved to the POI.

/shrug, I never really find myself using walls. IMO they take too long to set up, I'd use them if you had the Emperor: Battle For Dune system but a bit faster.

Does the right click movement system bother anyone else as much as it does me?

This is like being made to drive on the right side of the road when you're used to the left. :)

Predator's just said it'll be fixed in the first patch. Apparently there's a little more involved then just changing 1 line of code...

I'm getting it now, says it'll be done in 2 hours 11 minutes at around 153 kb/sec. Hopefully my nearly 5 year old system will run it (Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB, Pentium 4 at 2.4GHz, 1.5 GB RAM...).

left click should be in options but i love it and the speed is also great for me any ways. but you gotta remember c&c was always a fast based game and that the demo only has a small 2 player map the walls are in game i've seen them but haven't seen them buildable tho however who knows i do think that there a many features missing in the demo

I was gonna download it last night, but when I got to about a 3 minute wait (from 46 minutes) it decided to reset itself again. I was already pushing my time and I had to be up early today, so I guess I'll have to try again today.
