I believe you can hack some of the XML's to enable the other sides.

EA link just went down, as the day is progressing.
How sadly predictable was that...

You can try to download off our very own server (Icetex, where ES is on), at www.cnc3files.com. Or you can try FilePlanet (but may be high queues), the torrent, or other sites. 5 kB/s isn't that much.. you should be able to find a better place that gives you higher speed

LOL Yesterday, I left the puter on overnight and sometime around 4:00, I woke up and checked out the DL. Apparently, there was a kind of time-out, the DL ended at 110MB and I went back to bed...

As someone in this topic stated before, use EA's very own software EA link to get a full speed download.

Anybody know if I can run the demo on an ATI RADEON X600?
Yes It can and medium Level of Detail. But that also depends on the other hardware that you have.

I am surprised how smooth I can run it. SC was totally Not working for me, had to put everything down and such, except the lowest detail of shadows, to be able to play it. I have not edited the Options yet but it looks gorgeous and I have absolutely no lag, not even in 20 mammoths vs a large NOD army.
Yes, Rail Gun Mammoths pwn... Yes they do...

Those Mammoth Tanks just sound Badass! :rofll:
Sweet! Not bad looking at all.
I also like the Infantry Squads, and especially those Classic Death Screams!

I had that problem for about 2 hours, from 10 to 12 am GMT+0, then in the afternoon it finished up. So now it seems 2 be down again.. I doubt it will survive the massive requests for game downloads when CC3 releases.

My download restarted due to time out :(. I don't care how long it takes, but I am concerned if it will run on my rusty box.

I managed to play it last night and I was more than surprised I could run it... at low/medium settings. I love how they added infantry squads, but I find it rather annoying that you cant heal your infantry at the barracks and that the health represents how many infantry you have in your squad. I also find that there a a lot of defences for you to use. (at least for GDI).
I find the buildings to be great, and the addition of building cranes to add another production queue to be useful. I just kinda wished the outpost truck design was better, it looks like crap atm, but its still a useful asset for outpost construction.
I love the voice overs so far, except the Engineer, they could use some radio sound effects though.
Finally - that right mouse move is extremely annoying. I find myself scrolling and accidently moving my troops.
In all, im satisfiyed with what they're doing, its just little things like that which might kill them during review time.

I have the demo and it's awesome. The strange thing is that i can run the demo on ultra settings (except shadows and anti aliasing) without any lag(the average fps is around 30-35). My video card is Radeon9200SE 64MB also i have 512MB RAM and AMD AthlonXP2200+ ~1.8GHz processor.
This means EA have done their job very well.
And if the whole game is like the demo(awesome) then I will suggest removing this icon ( :easucks: ).

Well I care to say that a lot of ppl were kind of dissapointed with the graphics. They could have been better. But then again, the game would be lot heavyer.
I like it as it is now. Cool graphics, and seems to run smoothly on a decent PC.

Does the right click movement system bother anyone else as much as it does me?
EA, leave the right clicking to Blizzard, that's their trademark.

After seeing a gameplay video and hearing the classic death screams, I had a funny feeling EA had done at least one thing right

=====================
I'm downloading it now and after 20 mins, I have 128 Mb. I should have the game 2-3 hours from now.

According to Predator they've decided to go back to left clicking in the first patch, more on that in the next podcast.

BFME also had right clicking iirc. But I'm glad that they will incorporate left clicking
