If the M1 were calle Crusaders, then the guys back at Gulf War I would not have been permitted to land them in Kuwait.

This is true...Crusaders in the land of the guardians of the two Holy Mosques! *gasp!*

0311 <- Rifleman, lol.

Huh? I don't get what you were talking about with the Rifleman MOS...like were you referring to me? Mine is 0811 Cannon Crewman, not 0311 Rifleman...

the 0311 thing is a inside joke between me and some friends, the guy had to take a in-game officer proficiency test asking Marine Corps and US Military related questions. One of the questions was what's the Rifleman MOS and he failed it, so I was pasting it on the forums to tease him.

Anyway, I still say that the Battlemaster is NOT the T-55 (Type 59) tank, that is waaaay too old to be General-ish.

I think the battlemaster is a fictional T-Series tank and goes to other fictional stuff in Generals.

I think EA based it off from the T-55 :

And They somewhat made a fictional version of the T-55. :D

The Paladin doesn't look that much like an Abrams, IMO. A little, yeah, but not much.

Oh yeah, Heres the paladin tank for you mister:

In the concept art and the box art of Generals, The Paladin looks like a modernized Abrams.

Is it bad to mix and match old/new stuff and in the end making a fictional T- Series tank?

If you think the T-55 is old...well look at this:

Its a World War 1 T-26 tank or as we know it in Generals as the Scorpion tank...

Ah, but the Chinese doesn't have it. So it's not my problem. :D

A lot of people say the battlemaster is based on the Type 98 (which is not in mass production yet IIRC). BUt it doesn't look like it to me, since it still has the rounded bowl/dome like turret instead of sloped and angular. Dunno, could be a T-62, but that's just a modernized t-54/55.

It could always be the Type 80/85/88.

And if I'm correct, the OLD Warmaster is the Type-96

The Type 80 looks too big to be the Battlemaster. The T-55 looks the closest. The Type 96 looks almost exactly like the Warmaster though.

Dude, Chris, that pic doesn't look especially like an Abrams, either. Like someone else said, I think they pulled a fictional model out of their asses and then trolled the internet to find a name of a real tank. But we're getting way too into this, I mean we're talking about individual perceptions, here.

I remember reading on the wiki that the US has more M113s (10000+) than China has T-55s (600).

Which had me thinking... New US strat. M113 filled with Missile Defender Rush?

Lol a M113 filled with Missiledefenders would be kinda useless

Since THEREs nowhere you can fire from!

The Crusader is a Ambramized Leopard2a4 with a turbine engine

Same reason why China has troopcrawlers. 6 M113s, dropping 5 MDs each 6x5= 30 MDs in your base!

Oh, and I think I found out what inspired the new Warmaster:

http://en.wikipedia....ki/Ch%27onma-ho

doesn't that look like the new Warmaster if you add two missile pods on the sides?

I think the missiles are optional, but as far as it goes. This is the closest unit I can find.

Can anyone from the shockwavemod team verify that these sources are correct/incorrect?
