A quote is part of the post it's in, and it contains the name itself, not a reference to a user. So if the user changes names, the name in the member's profile changes, but in the quote it doesn't.

but wasnt the qoute spam topic started not to long ago?

The start of it dates back some time.

oh just checked...saw the months not the dates thxs admin and staff for pointing this out

Odd errors of "cannot find server" When using the search function for looking at topics, and some other occasions. I have experienced this on 2 different computers..... Also, the topic did exist, I could find it by combing through the forums.

I just had a problem logging in a few moments ago. It came up with the usual log in screen:

"Thanks
You are now logged in as: blah blah

Please wait while we transfer you..."

But immediately logged me back out again.

I had been posting a message at the time but walked away from my computer and when I came back it had logged me out. I managed to fix it by closing down the window and reopening it again. :S

i thought i'd restate this, remember me still doesn't work :(

Remember me is a problem with the forum software itself and can't be fixed.

IE . and I don't get that problem a few days before , I think this is happened after that forum closing or something

its supposed to minimise the quotes isn't it? (i may be wrong, i never use it), but it doesn't seem to do anything for me either, it just changes to the minus button but nothing happens

No, the leftmost quote button is for quoting multiple posts at once. You select the posts you want to quote, then hit 'reply' and there you go.

never new that, but it doesn't appear to work anyway

I know how it works Codecat and actually I always use it , its better than normal quoting imo but currently that button doesn't work , when u click it it becomes '' - '' and then I know it works after clicking add reply button but when I click add reply , I cannot see the quote over there .

Not a big problem but still something .

Also what do you mean with skin ? I use standart windows skin and theme now

With skin he means forum skin, at the bottom of the page you can pick the forum skin. I'm using Estudios Blue atm and the quote button seems to work here :

When you go to the second, third, ... page of a poll and click 'view results only', once the results appear you are back at the first page.

I am having a problem posting with attachments. It won't attach I'll click it and it will freeze.

Has a small quick fix been determined for the "remember me" not working?

if runing ie7 randomly will open infenity tabs more often when holding control and opining a new tab not sure what causes it mabey if u exit a tab while holding controol it hapend twice it opend the tab and opended it agian and never stoped opinig them my com just got slower and slower i had to take out the batery cause cotrol alt delet wont work
