Apologies for sizing, but this is all that my desktop is nowadays. Simple, and relaxed. Sod all the clutter, the Dock, stuff on the Desktop, everything. All I need is Bowtie (top left showing the now playing, click the button once to pause/play, twice to skip, thrice to go back) and QuickSilver (launcher app). Everything else is utterly unnecessary.

A nice little thingy I found of what is still undeniably the game with the best logo EVER - Quake.
The brave hide behind technology. The stupid hide from it. The clever have technology, and hide it.

Nothing special, really.
I found a lot of these on the CDs which were included in some PC magazines, and I also tried almost every customizing program for XP back then, but that was around 6 years ago
I can't even recall the names, apart for ThemesXP which was my favourite (and included dozens of themes already) and Windowblinds (which I still use for Seven sometimes for the Icon's function)
Apart from that, I'd recommend crawling DeviantArt's files, they have a special category for skinning, and most of their themes are stunning
EDIT : And here's the link : http://browse.deviantart.com/customization...indows/?order=9
Most of these should work on XP SP3 like this Win7 theme : http://vher528.deviantart.com/art/Windows-...Atime&qo=10

Thanks mate, sadly I can't pretend I created the original template for the icons, I merely fiddled with them, adding some brush strokes and the glow effect
I can send you the modded template if you want, it's under CC license, and I even kept the dA link on them so it's more than fine
@Jason : You're welcome
