BTW, wat is a poly-count? I never made models before, and I'm curious.

a Poly-count is term used for the number of polygons (triangle planes) on a model.

for example, a cube has 12 polys. I square per side, each square being made of two triangles (polys).

the More polys, the more detail, but also more lag.

In ZH, 1000 is about the max you should have for a plane or tank.

Then this mod's model is way off. It's LAG heaven for ZH when you get this mod.

A modell is based on vertexes (points with XYZ coordinate) between which triangles are spanned (every triangle gets defined by its three vertexes). A polygon (poly) may be a plane made of several triangles, but especially when talking about polycount it usually only reffers to the number of triangles used to form the modell.

On a modern mashine, ZH should be able to handle these. You also have to take into account that a realistic balancing will result in much less units present at a time so that you can use more polys per modell. The main reason for lags in ZH is the pathfinding/AI anyways.

i think there is alot of quastion's

so i will answer


1- about the soldier's i'm with u the about the soldier's like the bf2 soldier's even the texure's
the soldier's like bf2 soldier's yes like but not it is the bf2 soldier's pcc modeler was designed it to be like bf2
soldier's even the texure with the pcc designer ok do u understand now

2- about the 200.gb all u can have with hard drive space i'm say no u worng
in iraq we have more than of 400gb and when we buy an hard drive we make it 4 or 8 or 16
part's not only C is that ok


3- the polycount about 1000 all u can have in zh : no that's not right 1000poly in generals
not in zh ..... in zh u can have 10000poly and we have an plane have 8500 poly it is the
iraf.... su-35 i was post the pics there

3- some one was say then this mod's go off.... so if u right how we played it in iraq
not the pcc the are more more people in iraq play our mod
and ....... and in this frum there is no body understand pcc only mr golan

4- about who say good great work keep it and other we say thank's very very very thank my freind's thank

5- in pcc now we have some problem it is American occupation forces have arrested two days ago one of our employees and the gap designer therefore this will delay our somewhat

What Slye_fox said was that the polycount for a model SHOULD have 1000poly, not all you can have in ZH.

Other than that I watch this mod with great interest.

One question though, will this mod come out for the english version of generals ZH.

yes yes i know he was say about the plane's and tank for each one 1000 poly that's all
u can have but he was worng here about zh it's not in zh 1000 polycount all u can have for plane or tank

no in zh u can have 10000 polycount and about english ver yes we will do
launch only in english version


and our mod u can run it with 64 screen cart or vedio cart and 3 or 2.25 khz of process
and 256 mb of ram but u have to change in the setting's first time when u play it

the setting's must change it's 1-remove 3d shadow and 2d shadow and litghting and that's what u should have to remove it from setting's and the must keep it in setting's it's 1-dynameclevel and heat effect and other who the we was say must chang's and the texure res it on mid and partical cap on mid less or more

if u do this changes u will play our mod fast and work... that's all

Yes you can have 10,000 polycount, but the game will lag majorly.

Same goes for me. I willl look forward to your mod butno offense, 200MB is just insane. Nice mod overall, I'm not criticizing yuour mod in any way, but if your model poly-counts can be reduced, it would be a lot better,

200mb is nothing. I mean unless you have a 3 gig hard drive, I mean 200 megabytes is really not all that super huge. The game, ZH, itself is what, 1.5 gigabytes?
