First off find a render you like.
Then I recommend a 150x150 canvas.

and do something from there. Also try and improve your background, look on google for tuts or something, because i think it is the worst part of your sig at the moment.

Man, Ure getting better I see ... jusst do what Warbz said ... just click anything u see on GIMP just anything ... then try to find some tuts, then get some cool brushes and fonts and stuff ... and u can find ur own techniques of making sigs ...

Oh, listen to Warbz? That's just...nvm.. Anyway, actually, Lord_Atlantis told me that he uses GIMP for his work too, so he gave me some sample brushes and I made the sigs with them.. But nobody's asking or requesting me for one...:( And also, google doesn't really provide good search results, because, I tried Yahoo! Search and it actually gave me more specific results and what I wanted. Google is a good search engine, but I prefer to use Yahoo better .

Well ...If u look at Warbz Artwork, AfterFlash ... u can see that he is better than you ... right ? ... he was giving u constructive criticism ... u took that as offensive ...

Uh no, it's not that, he uses Photoshop, I use GIMP, and both different programs. I'm just saying I have to find someone who uses GIMP and maybe the person can teach me. Warbz can tell me stuff about backgrounds, brushes and all that, it's fine by me, I'm just saying that GIMP is complicated and I just need to learn how to mess with it. Warbz is okay, he's doing a fine job teaching me. That's why my Avatar looks better than my sigs, I thank Warbz for this but I just need a GIMP teacher... Like I said, Warbz is ok, he can continue teaching me how to make a good sig, while I find a master of GIMP to teach me how to use it right.

In other words, Warbz can teach me Sig Making, while Lord_Atlantis (for example, cuz he's good at GIMP) can tell me the functions of GIMP.

I have a 56k modem and I'm impatient. I think I'll stick with GIMP....for now... And besides, I'm starting to learn how GIMP works!

Wow, have you even tried Photoshop? It's not exactly "Awesome Sig Factory", you have to learn too.
It doesn't matter which program you use, you still have some basics to improve.

Backgrounds, Blending and Borders are three of them.

Though i have never used Gimp, coming to terms with photoshop wasn't exactly a 'Pick up and play' type of experience.

Yeah, about the 400x100 pixels.....the sig would be too tall for this forum then. If you want to use it for another forum, that's fine, but 'round these here parts, 350 pixels is the tallest you can go. If you plan top use the sig here, may I suggest a 300x200?

My sigs have the dimensions 380x120, meanining 380 wide 120 tall.
