But I think I just found the "Real" Battlemaster.
It just happens to be a Pakistani thing though (in use with Chinese tanks)

I really wanted to get this thread back moving since I doubt starting a new thread whenever I find something new isn't exactly great either and this thread does contain some hard work...
Lock if you must, but I'd rather you not. D:
(First post of thread not edited till an agreement on how BM-ish the Al-Zarar is)

And probably a Python minus one barrel:

Bit like a gattling outpost:

Not offence, but the V.China BM has a slightly rounder turret while the Type 59 is slightly flattened and egg-like - the T-54 which the Type 59 is derived from is also used by Juhziz and should theoretically have the same stat if that is true (but it doesn't...does it?) Also, the T-59 series has unevenly spaced wheels while the Type 69-III/79 has evenly spaced road wheels like the in game Battlemaster.
It it also the base for the Type 88, wich should theoretically be Kwai's BM Mk.II, which like the Type 88, have an extra set or road-wheels compared to the Type 69-III/79. Stats wise, this would explain why the BM is still capable of damaging modern tanks.
It all fits perfectly - and besides, The T-54/55 is old, the GLA might want it, but China certainly has enough money and manpower to produce some tank that's not a relic from the Cold War on a massive industrial scale.

I never played the Shockwave mod, but I assume basic Scorpion is the same in the mod as it was in the original game. It is my opinion that the GLA Scorpion for Generals is based on the French world-war-2-era AMX-38. See for yourself:

Also the KA29 Helix A. Both are way too small to truly represent a Helix.

I found it kind of odd that the GLA is using an American Invention.
USA Avenger:
Though the current Avenger used the the US Military doesn't use lasers, Boeing already has one in development that uses a laser much like a PDL.
